The Cedar Shop of Calgary, Alberta, a solely Canadian owned company, was founded in 1978 by the late Jerry & Bev Palko.
The company was formed to supply homeowners and contractors with high quality cedar products. The Cedar Shop has evolved over the years from a small Mom & Pop shop to be the largest independent, stand-alone building supply store in Calgary.

Since 2018, The Cedar Shop has been located at 100-285 Manitou Rd. SE in Calgary. In this new location, the business has a 53,000 square foot building footprint and boasts a 15,000 square foot showroom. The Cedar Shop is the largest dedicated cedar showroom in Canada. Jointly owned by Jerry & Bev’s sons Tyler & Brad Palko, their desire is to continue the same quality service their parents strove for.

The Cedar Shop supports Canadian mills and we always source products from Canada first. We are proud to be celebrating our 42nd year in 2020.
